But if you are looking for a game to just to play when friends are over, I can't recommend this game enough. One thing that should be noted is that as much as I love this game, it really is not that much fun playing by yourself. MattMakesGames, the developer is fantastic. However, if i'm with more then one friend, team deathmatch modes amongst the 3 or 4 of us is always a blast. the game is co-op or competitive, but I find the most fun to be competitive if I only am with one friend (1v1). There are all types of cool different game settings, so you'll find yourself playing multiple times with your friends, and maybe adjusting a few different settings each time. I've never lost and been mad at this game. It's a retro type game a 2D game where you and a buddy pick a character about the size of mario and shoot arrows at each other whilst jumping around the map trying to dodge each other. Towerfall is probably my favorite co-op game on PS4. Towerfall Metacritic: 87/100 Price: $14.99 Gameplay They interact with the community over at /r/rocketleague, listen to their fan base, give free dlc pretty much monthly.This is definitely a game where you will have a blast playing with a buddy. And lastly it should be noted that Psyonix, the developers for Rocket League are absolutely top notch. With so many possibilities, the game is endless fun.

Rocket League's easy to learn curve is part of what makes it great. The concept is simple: hit the large ball into the net using your rocket powered battle car. I currently have about 225 hours in the game, and absolutely love it.
